When I started this site in January 2005 I did not realize how many crafts were out there, nor how many crafts I would become obsessed with.  Making dresses for the Fashion Doll, specially for the Barbie® Doll, is amazing, enchanting, just wonderful!!! (but a bit hard, not stitch wise, but time wise, it takes up a lot of your time. I am smitten with the large Ballroom dance gowns that you can crochet in the Antebellum style.  But the world of doll clothes and doll fashion is much larger than that.  Your doll can be dressed in a Channel suit or a Carolina Herrera. 

Aside from that there are countless crochet furniture you can make!  Yes, in crochet.  And don't get me started on miniature furniture, that will have a section of its own.

All in all, I expect the world of knit, crochet, sewing and more for the Fashion Doll gives us the perfect excuse to buy dolls at ANY age, and that, to me, it's a blessing in disguise.  Please have fun checking out these fashion doll resources.  Some limit the content to 11.5 inch fashion dolls, but other sites dedicate themselves not only to those dolls but also many other size dolls and doll making (cloth dolls like Raggedy Ann).
