Quilling, also known as paper filigree is a craft that consists of making diverse shapes - like a flower or a dog - Through thin strips of paper that have been rolled and shaped.

I recently taught myself the craft with a starter kit I found at a crafts store.   The first task was making the quilling chart you see on the left side of this text. 

Don't be fooled though, at first this little papercraft can be a bit time consuming, but the results are worth it, especially when making greeting cards or special tokens of appreciation for others.
